Choosing a Magnesium Sulphate Supplier: A 10-Point Checklist
A low price on the first quote means little if the second shipment arrives off-spec. Use this checklist before committing to a new supplier.
- Registered exporter? Ask for the Importer-Exporter Code and company registration details.
- Who makes it? Know whether you are buying from the manufacturer or through a trader, and what the production source is.
- Batch COAs? Every shipment should come with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.
- Independent test? A government or accredited laboratory report adds weight to the supplier's own figures.
- Samples? Test a sample in your own laboratory or process before ordering a container.
- Grade and size range? Can they match your crystal size and grade consistently?
- Packing options? 25 kg, 50 kg, jumbo bags or private label to suit your market.
- Documents for your country? Do they know your import requirements?
- Clear Incoterms and payment? FOB, CFR or CIF, with TT or L/C terms stated in writing.
- Responsive contact? A named person who answers by email and WhatsApp before and after shipment.
