Packing Magnesium Sulphate: 25 kg Bags, Jumbo Bags and Container Loads
The right packing protects the product, suits your unloading equipment and makes the most of every container.
25 kg and 50 kg bags
Woven polypropylene (PP) bags, often with an inner polyethylene liner, are the most common export pack. They suit distributors who sell bag by bag and warehouses without forklifts for jumbo bags. A 20 ft container typically takes around 25 MT, which is about 1,000 bags of 25 kg, loaded loose or on pallets.
1 MT jumbo bags (FIBC)
Flexible intermediate bulk containers hold about one tonne each and have lifting loops for forklifts and cranes. Fertilizer blenders and industrial users prefer them because they unload quickly and reduce labour. Expect roughly 25–27 jumbo bags per 20 ft container, depending on product density.
Private-label retail packs
For bath-salt and garden brands, product can be packed in printed retail packs with the brand's artwork. Minimum order quantities apply.
Keeping it dry
Magnesium sulphate can cake if it absorbs moisture. Lined bags, dry containers, desiccant where needed, and good warehouse practice at destination keep the product free-flowing.
Marks and labels
Bags can carry the product name, grade, batch number, net weight and the buyer's marks, which helps customs and stock control. Tell us how your customers handle the product and we will recommend the pack.
